Telangana Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday stated that several districts of Telangana are likely to witness light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. While providing details, the weather department stated that along with heavy rain, the coastal regions are also expected to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds. The continuous rainfall is expected to provide relief from the heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. The IMD has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the weather department stated several districts, including Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Nirmal, Sangareddy, and Medak, are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next few days. The excessive rainfall might also lead to waterlogging in multiple cities, leading to slow vehicular movements. The IMD also stated that the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will lead to heavy rainfall in several southern and western states.
