New Delhi | Jagran Trending Desk: Amid 21-day nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the country has been brought to a sudden halt as the majority of citizens are staying at home. With automobile and industrial shut down, pollution levels across India have seen a drastic fall.
The most recent example was the spectacular view of the snowcapped mountain range from the rooftop of Jalandhar, Punjab. The mountains from Himachal Pradesh became clearly visible without the need of any instrument as the level of Air Quality Index witnessed a tremendous drop in the city.
Several metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi also reported lower levels of pollution. In fact, animals came out to play in the absence of humans on the streets. From elephant to deers, there have seen several incidents of wildlife taking to the streets in the absence of humans.
