IPL final 2025 was no less, the showdown between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings made RCB the ultimate winner of IPL 2025. 1. Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Punjab Kings (2025)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their maiden IPL title in a nail-biting 2025 final, defeating Punjab Kings by six runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The team in red won after 18 long years of hard work and resilience. The highlights of the ultimate showdown were that Virat Kohli scored 43 and Krunal Pandya’s tight bowling. While PBKS's Shashank Singh’s unbeaten 61 was not enough for the victory. 

2. Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (2024)

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won their third IPL title against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final of 2024. The team chased a modest total of 113 in 10.3 overs. Sunil Narine, with his outstanding performance, won the Player of the Series award.

3. Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans (2023)

Due to rain, the final episode was one of the shortest matches, but MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) effortlessly chased down the Gujarat Titans’ 214 (DLS method) in 15 overs. Ravindra Jadeja’s last-ball heroics sealed CSK’s fifth IPL title. Shubman Gill delivered great performances throughout the season, which earned him the Player of the Series award.

3. Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals (2022)

In the debut season, the Gujarat Titans defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. The team effortlessly chased 130 runs with their stunning batting and strict bowling. Jos Buttler was the player of the season.

4. Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders (2021)

CSK, led by MS Dhoni, conquered the final, with a winning total of 192/3. Whereas, KKR only scored 165/9. Faf du Plessis' performance was the highlight of the match, and Harshal Patel was declared the Player of the Series for his wicket record haul.

5. Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals (2020)

Mumbai Indians (MI) showcased their championship skills, by effortlessly chasing Delhi Capitals’ 156 score. This was MI’s fifth title, which made it IPL’s most successful franchise. Jofra Archer won the Player of the Series title.

6. Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings (2019)

A thrilling final of 2019 kept everyone glued to their couches. Mumbai Indians won by just a run. Lasith Malinga's last-over heroics and Shane Watson's unbeaten 80 for CSK made the match memorable. Andre Russel was given the Player of the Series Title.

7. Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (2018)

Back after suspension, CSK won their third title due to Shane Watson's 117 not out with a total of 179 runs. Sunil Narine's all-round performances made him Player of the Series.

8. Mumbai Indians vs Rising Pune Supergiant (2017)

MI won by a single run in a close final after defending a total of 129 runs. Krunal Pandya's 47 and death bowling by MI proved the turning point of the final match. Ben Stokes was the season's best performer.

9. Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (2016)

SRH, led by David Warner, won by 8 runs against RCB. Virat Kohli’s record-breaking runs earned him Player of the Series.

10. Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings (2015)

MI scored a total of 202/5 and while CSK scored 161/8 to win their second title. Rohit Sharma's leadership and Andre Russell's all-round performance throughout the season were highlights of the team's success.
