Laws are meant to maintain order, but some around the world are downright bizarre. These strange regulations can range from quirky to absurd, which questions our understanding of legal norms around the globe. As per Switzerland’s Nighttime Noise Ban, some apartment buildings legally enforce quiet hours after 10 pm, which prohibits tenants from flushing toilets, running dishwashers, or even showering. If found red-handed, violators may face fines or eviction.
