Most Dangerous Animals in the World: Of course, animals are one of the cutest creatures on the Earth, but their adorable looks do not mean that they cannot be deadly. So with that in mind, we thought that for today, let’s take a look at some of these animals that have quite a reputation when it comes to being deadly or dangerous. Who would have thought it, but yes, one of the smallest insects in the world is reportedly considered one of the deadliest to mess around with; Mosquitoes. Ignore their tiny size, because its bite is enough to make it one of the most feared animals. Reportedly, around 725,000 people lose their lives in a year because of mosquito bites. Malaria, Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya, and to name a few, are only some of the life-threatening diseases that are caused by mosquitoes. If not dead, then these diseases are still serious enough to leave a patient weak for days and sometimes months.

Snakes

Of course, the second animal on the list of the most dangerous animals in the world is a reptile! Snakes are one of the most deadly animals around the world and one of the most feared for several reasons. From their slithering tongue to their scaled body, even their appearance is no joke. Snakes reportedly kill around 138,000 people a year. To make it worse, the species has all kinds of venomous ones one can ask for. From King Cobras to Vipers and from giant snakes like pythons to anacondas, there are all kinds of snakes that are equally scary and deadly.

Dogs

Yes, we too hate to see this one on the list, but the truth is, a huge number of people lose their lives to bites from a canine that is infected with rabies. Rabies is a deadly disease that has no cure. If the person bitten by a rabies-infected dog is not vaccinated as soon as possible and under a scheduled period of time, their chances of survival shrink down to almost nil. Reportedly, around 59,000 people per year die because of rabies-infected dog bites.

Assassin Bugs

Coming to the next one, we have another flying insect to be aware of; Assassin Bugs. The Assassin Bugs are one of the most fatal insects, which can cause Chagas disease. Around 10,000 people die in a year because of the said disease. They are mostly a threat in the US, as they are found in Central and South America. Apart from its bite, the Chagas disease can also be transmitted through food that is infected by the deadly bug.

Scorpions

Coming to the next, we also have a deadly insect that can kill a fully grown adult if not treated in time after its sting; Scorpions. There are around 2,600 types of scorpions, and out of these thousands, around 25 are considered the most poisonous. It's their creepy-looking tail that they use for the attack. Reportedly, around 3,300 people die in a year from scorpions’ sting.

This one, should surely not surprise anyone; the crocodile. Crocodiles are one of the deadliest animals in the world, reportedly killing around 1,000 people in a year. Be it a saltwater crocodile or a freshwater, when it comes to being aggressively dangerous, they all are equal and should never be messed with. Crocodiles are only found near water bodies. Depending on them being a saltwater croc or a freshwater adds to one of the major factors in their habitat. Not only are these animals deadly when it comes to their teeth but their jaw strength is also something to look out for.

Elephants

Another surprise entry on the list is of this humble giant, Elephant, who can be quite deadly if encountered in a not-so-humble mood. The elephant is usually a quiet animal that is respected by humanity and in the animal kingdom as well. Their size alone is enough to make them a threat if the situation is not correct. Reportedly, around 600 people lost their lives because of elephant attacks. Although social media is mostly full of adorable elephant videos, it's still hard to ignore the fact that several deadly elephant encounters have also made headlines from time to time.
