Indigo Passenger Finds ‘Screw’ In Sandwich: Just a few days ago, India’s one of the most popular airlines, Indigo, was in the headlines for overcharging for seats and meals onboard the flight. But despite all the public heat, it seems like the brand’s ‘embarrassing episode’ is not over yet, as it is back in the headlines for yet another controversial incident. Taking to social media, one of the Indigo passengers shared about their ‘nightmarish’ meal that could have easily gone ‘southways’, if it would have gone unnoticed; a screw in the sandwich. Yes, you read that correctly. The said passenger found a screw inside the sandwich that was ordered just before boarding the flight.
A post regarding the same was quick to go viral on the internet, as it made people recall other past instances that were equally questionable. The said flight, as per the viral post, was flying from Bangalore to Chennai. Rushing into action, the man then got in contact with the staff, only to receive an unjust response. According to the post, the flight refused to call it ‘legible’, as it unfolded before the flight took off. The incident, as per post, unfolded on ‘01/02/24’.
The image was shared on the social media platform Reddit, by the user ‘MacaroonIll3601’. The post was captioned, “Got a screw in my sandwich. The post read, “While traveling inIndigo recently on 01/02/24 from BNG to Chennai I got a screw in my sandwich, when I urged for an apology from the airlines end they came back with a response that wince inconsumed it post flight it couldn't be found legible!!!! #indigo how should I approach this so Indigo can at least respond.”

The post, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most dubbed the incident 'life-threatening’, while the rest cracked jokes on the same. Others demanded action against the airline, and many also suggested the Redditor to take legal actions. The post was shared a day ago and pulled 3K upvotes from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “WTF!? If they aren't responding properly. You can raise a complaint in consumer court on it! It's not a daunting process like normal courts. They might ask you to appear for a hearing to ask about your version and they should be present too. And it will be closed at max in 2 hearings!” said a user.
“So that’s where missing Boeing nuts are. But in all seriousness, this is very risky. What if a child ingested that? Airlines are whores of India they go unchecked with numerous complaints. You can do everything but sh*t won't happen if in America you’d be a millionaire,” said a second user.
