Nobel Prize 2025 Winners List: This year, the Nobel Prize winners in the field of Physiology or Medicine, Physics laureates, Chemistry, Literature and Peace have already been rewarded. However, as of 10th October 2025, the complete list is yet to be published in the fields of Economic Sciences, which will be announced in the next few days. The prizes are being released one by one, category-wise, scheduled within the timeline of 6th October to 13th October, in accordance with the classical timing established by the Nobel Foundation.
Nobel Prize Winners In Physiology or Medicine 2025
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for 2025 was given on October 6 to Mary E Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi due to their discoveries related to peripheral immune tolerance. Their innovations highlighted the role played by the regulatory T cells (Tregs) in avoiding autoimmune illnesses through the preservation of immune system equilibrium. This effective research has opened the doors to new therapies for diseases like type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. The award was given by the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm.

Nobel Prize Winners In Physics 2025
On October 7, the Nobel Prize in Physics 2025 was bagged by John Clarke, Michel H Devoret, and John M Martinis for having discovered macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnelling and energy quantisation in an electric circuit. Their experiments showed that quantum effects, like tunnelling and discrete energy states, can be observed in superconducting circuits of large size, a discovery that has driven forward the field of quantum computing, quantum sensors, and quantum cryptography. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences emphasised that their work has created new horizons in quantum technology.

Nobel Prize Winners In Chemistry 2025:
On October 8, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2025 was bagged by Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar M Yaghi “for the development of metal–organic frameworks.” The awardees created a new form of molecular architecture. The structures they built are based on metal-organic frameworks that comprise wide cavities where molecules can come and go. Scientists have used them to collect water from desert air, remove pollutants from water, trap carbon dioxide and store hydrogen.
