Award-Winning Whiskies In India: In recent years, Indian whiskies have garnered a name for themselves across the globe. The international recognition of Indian whiskies also reflects the growth of the Indian market landscape. According to Expert Market Research repost, “The Indian whiskey market reached a volume of 260.07 million cases in 2024. In the forecast period of 2025-2034, the market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.6% to reach 502.80 million cases by 2034.”
Which are the Award-Winning Indian Whiskies?
The most award-winning Indian whisky include Indri-Trini, followed by Rampur Asava and Kadamba’s Signature Expression. Other top contender Indian whisky brands are The English Distillery Sherry Cask Matured worth $170 / Rs 14,000 (approximately), Dewars Double Double 37 Years Old, which costs $179 (for 375 ml) / Rs 1,49,856 and Mars Tsunuki 6 Year Old Cask. the Ballantine’s 30 Year Old whisky also has several awards in its name.

This single malt Indian whisky won the ‘Best Indian Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies Awards 2024. It was also the GOLD Winner at the Tokyo Whisky & Sprits Competition 2023. With almost 14 international honours, this single malt brand is conquering India’s whisky market.

Rampur Asava
This whiskey is hand-crafted and aged in the foothills of the Himalayas. The manufacturer of this brand calls it the Kohinoor of single malts. The brand was crowned ‘Best World Whisky’ at the 2023 John Barleycorn Awards and the Top Spirits award at the 2023 Spring and Fall Competition.
