WhatsApp Messenger has also introduced typing indicators to enhance real-time engagement in chats. These visual cues, including the profile picture of the person typing, appear in both one-to-one and group conversations, making it particularly helpful when multiple users are typing simultaneously in group chats. Additionally, the messaging platform recently rolled out a voice message transcription feature, allowing users to view text-based transcripts of received voice messages. This feature ensures privacy, as the transcriptions are generated on the recipient's device and are not accessible to anyone else, including the sender.
