In a feel-good moment straight out of a sitcom, police officers in Tempe, Arizona, stepped in as unexpected delivery men after arresting a Grubhub driver mid-route. The officers ensured that the customer, a woman named Brandy, still received her pizza — warm and right at her doorstep.
The Tempe Police Department shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), which quickly went viral. In the footage, two uniformed officers are seen walking up to a residence, pizza box in hand. Brandy answers the door visibly confused to see police instead of her food delivery driver.
“How are you doing? Brandy?” one of the officers asks. After she confirms her name, the officer explains, “So your Grubhub guy got arrested, so we still delivered your pizza.” The moment is met with stunned silence, then a chuckle as the officer lightheartedly adds, “It should still be warm.” Brandy breaks into a smile, thanking the officers for the unexpected, yet successful delvery.
