The most well-known role Phil Robertson played was that of the patriarch of the Robertson family on the A&E show Duck Dynasty. He played quarterback for Louisiana Tech University before Terry Bradshaw, who would go on to become a member of the NFL Hall of Fame. He declined a possible pro football career to follow his love of hunting and the great outdoors. In the 1970s, Phil started Duck Commander and created a brand-new type of duck call. Later on, the business grew into a multimillion-dollar outdoor brand.
