Pop star Ariana Grande is all set to join the cast of the highly anticipated fourth movie in the Meet the Parents comedy franchise. Known for her powerful vocals and recent ventures into acting, Grande’s addition has sparked excitement among fans who are eager to see her in a new comedic role. The fourth film in the series is being written by John Hamburg, who also penned the scripts for the previous three films. Once again, Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro will return in their iconic roles and also serve as producers through their respective production companies, Red Hour Films and Tribeca Productions.

Ariana Grande, according to a report in Deadline, will appear alongside Stiller and De Niro in the upcoming movie, with Teri Polo and Blythe Danner also returning. The movie is scheduled to release on 25 November 2026, giving fans plenty to look forward to as the franchise makes its long-awaited comeback. Grande’s involvement signals her growing presence in the film industry. Her fans are especially keen to see how she brings her charm and energy to the comedy setting.

Meet the Parents first hit cinemas in 2000, quickly becoming a fan favourite for its hilarious take on family dynamics. The original movie starred Ben Stiller as Greg, a kind-hearted nurse who faces a series of misadventures while trying to impress his girlfriend’s parents, played by Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner. The franchise continued with Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010), both of which were box office successes.

While best known for her music, Ariana Grande is no stranger to acting. She starred as pop singer Riley Bina in Netflix’s Don’t Look Up (2021) and made a cameo as herself in Zoolander 2 (2016). On the other hand, Grande has openly shared her passion for acting. In an interview with ScreenDaily, she said, “I would love to exist in this space for a while longer. I love finding characters that make people feel seen and human. I’d love to continue on this road.” Her latest role in Meet the Parents 4 will no doubt bring her closer to that goal.
