Brad Pitt’s latest statement about a potential reunion with Tom Cruise has generated widespread excitement among their fans. The duo starred together in the 1994 horror drama Interview with the Vampire. Pitt and Cruise have never reunited on screen since that appearance. Recently, the F1 star expressed his interest in working with Cruise again but with one condition. Find out what that condition is for doing a film together.
Brad Pitt Wants To Work With Tom Cruise Again
In an interview with E! News at the Mexican premiere of his upcoming film F1, when asked about Tom Cruise and his reunion plans, Pitt referred to the popular aeroplane stunt Cruise and said he is interested in doing a movie with him only if the stunts are performed on the ground. He said, "Well, I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and shit like that. So when he does something again that’s on the ground [then yes].”
The upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt is helmed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the same dynamic duo behind Tom Cruise's blockbuster hit Top Gun: Maverick.
In F1, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a seasoned pro who returns to the racing track with new talent Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) in order to become the best Formula One driver in the world.
Joseph Kosinski recently revealed to GQ that he had initially envisioned a film starring both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt for his take on Ford v Ferrari. However, the studio rejected his budget proposal and the project ultimately went to James Mangold for direction, starring Christian Bale and Matt Damon.

When Kosinski was asked if Cruise starred in F1 over Pitt, to this he stated, "Tom always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time is super capable and very skilled. They both have the natural talent for driving. But yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.”

Kosinski added as quoted by Variety. "Tom pushes it to the limit. I mean really to the limit. That terrifies me. I mean, I’ve done loads of ‘Mission: Impossibles’ with Tom and it’s the most stressful experience for someone like me building cars for him, doing stunts with him. Whereas Brad listens and he knows his abilities, and I think he’d be the first to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not going to do that.’”
Besides F1, Pitt will be seen in The Adventures of Cliff Booth. Directed by David Fincher, Pitt will be reprising his role as a stuntman.
