Daredevil Born Again Season Finale: What Happens To The Punisher Aka Frank Castle At The End Of Episode 9?

Daredevil Born Again Season Finale: All the episodes of Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal starrer American Marvel series have now been streaming on Disney+ in the US. The last episode was dropped on April 15 on the OTT platform. The season ended with 9 episodes and gave a hint about the whereabouts of The Punisher aka Frank Castle (played by Jon Bernthal). As reported by Beebom, in the post-credit scene of the show, it can be seen that Frank Castle went to the Red Hook port after knowing about the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. He fought with several bad cops but was eventually outgunned and captured. Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin (played by Vincent D'Onofrio) captured everyone who was against him and put them in cages at the Red Hook port. The Punisher was also kept in one of those cages. 

While being locked up, he can be seen having conversations with the cop guarding him. During their chat, he gets to know that both of them hail from Jersey. He then shook hands with the cop but tried to pull him in and broke his arm to get the key to the cage. The door then opened up. In the post-credit scene of Daredevil Born Again, it can be seen that The Punisher gets free and escapes from the place. Thus giving a hint that the season 2 of Daredevil Born Again will go on with the story of The Punisher.

The 9th episode of the show has been titled Straight to Hell, which has been directed by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson. The episode has been written by Heather Bellson and Dario Scardapane. The show stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpi, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin Foggy Nelson. It has been created by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman and Chris Ord.
