American rapper Eminem also called the Detroit icon has made a grand return with his first LP in four years. Released today, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) marks the rapper's 12th studio album, and fans can stream it now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and other major music streaming platforms.

This latest album consists of 19 tracks, including the previously released singles Houdini and Tobey, which feature Big Sean and BabyTron. The LP also boasts a sequel to the 1999 hit Guilty Conscience with Dr. Dre.

On July 11, Eminem took to Twitter (now, X) to explain that The Death of Slim Shady is a “conceptual album,” urging listeners to follow the sequencing from track one to nineteen for the best experience. "Public service announcement: the 'death of slim shady' is a conceptual album, therefore, if you listen to songs out of order they might not make sense," he tweeted. "Enjoy."

This album aims to showcase a cohesive narrative, with each song building on the previous ones to form a complete story. Eminem's frequent collaborator Dr. Dre had already hinted at this release back in March on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, expressing his excitement about the project. The Death of Slim Shady is Eminem’s first album since 2020's Music to Be Murdered By. With the high anticipation surrounding this release, Eminem is vying for his 10th consecutive solo album to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The album's production is a collaborative effort, featuring Eminem himself alongside producers like Dem Jointz, Fredwreck, Cubeatz, Cole Bennett and his long-time partners Dr. Dre and Luis Resto.
