Jennifer Lopez, known for popular music hits like ‘Ain’t Your Mama’, ‘On The Floor’, ‘Dance Again’ and others, recently went through a rough patch in her personal life as she finalised her divorce with ex-husband Ben Affleck. The duo first met in 2000 and dated for two years. They soon tied the knot in 2022 in the hope of a happily ever after. But their dreams were crushed soon, and they headed for a divorce to live a separate life. The sensational singer has now performed one of her new breakup songs, Wreckage of You, which has cryptic lyrics that hints towards her living a better life than before.
Jennifer Lopez debuted her new song as part of her performance in Spain, which she introduced saying: “This is a song that is a new song which I want to sing for the first time tonight. This song came to me when I was up all night. So we sing this one for the people.” She sang the lyrics which went like, “Because of you, I am stronger, wiser. Better than I've ever been. I won't let you no longer, longer, ever say goodbye to me. It was perfect the while that you made me believe, really got only greater for me, and it made me stronger, stronger, bulletproof. Now watch me climb out of the wreckage of you.”

After hearing the lyrics, fans were quick to react on social media. “So beautiful and vulnerable! This may be her best ballad to date!” a user wrote. A second fan expressed, “Awwwww this is about Ben Affleck!” Another comment read, “What a beautiful song!” One more user wrote, “I need this on all platforms now, very beautiful.”

On the work front, Jennifer Lopez was last seen in the movie Unstoppable. She will be seen next in the musical drama Kiss of the Spider Woman. On the other hand, Ben Affleck's most recent work includes the films Air (2023) and The Flash (2023).
