HBO’s show Game of Thrones has always been the most talked about and popular show among the audience. This show has gotten worldwide recognition since its release. The final season was last aired in 2019 and became a centre of criticism for its storyline. Reacting to the online bashing about the same, Kit Harington, also known as Jon Snow said that they were tired of pulling off the show for longer period of time. He also agreed with people’s opinions, who thought that it was rushed. The actor further stated that when he looked at the pictures of him from the show he could find himself exhausted. Kit further admitted that there were mistakes made story-wise and stated that there were some ‘interesting’ choices that didn’t work.  

In an interview with British GQ, Kit Harington said “I think if there was any fault with the end of Thrones, is that we were all so f*cking tired, we couldn’t have gone on longer. And so I understand some people thought it was rushed and I might agree with them. But I’m not sure there was any alternative. I look at pictures of me in that final season and I look exhausted. I look spent. I didn’t have another season in me.” 

“I think there were mistakes made, story-wise, towards the end maybe. I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t quite work,” he added. 

Game of Thrones has been directed by David Benioff and DB Weiss. The show also starred Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Iain Glen, John Bradley, Alfie Allen, Conleth Hill and Liam Cunningham in significant roles. The first season of Game of Thrones premiered in 2011 and it went on till May 19, 2011.
