Lady Gaga is currently ruling Hollywood headlines due to her cameo appearance in the Netflix web series Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 as the ghostly former teacher Rosaline Rotwood. Apart from her brief guest appearance on the show, the singer is also in the news for cancelling her Miami concert last minute, leaving fans disappointed. She made the announcement just before her Mayhem Ball show was about to start. The singer broke the news to her fans via her Instagram stories and revealed the real reason behind the ‘agonising’ decision.
Lady Gaga uploaded an Instagram story sharing the news of postponing the Miami concert and revealed that after the recommendations of her doctor and vocal coach, she has decided to make this decision. A part of her note read, “I am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight’s show in Miami. During rehearsal last night and my vocal warmup tonight my voice was extremely strained and both my Dr. and vocal coach have advised me not to go on because of the risk it poses.”

Calling her decision ‘agonising,’ the Bloody Mary singer expressed that even though she wanted to push through the performance, she feared damaging her voice permanently. Lady Gaga apologised to her fans and asked for forgiveness for any ‘disappointment, let down or inconvenience.’ Reportedly, the cancelled tickets will be refunded to the people.
The cancelled concert was the last of three in Miami as part of her Mayhem Ball tour, which kicked off in July at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. Till now, she was also scheduled to perform on Saturday and Sunday in New York City. With this announcement, it’s uncertain whether the singer will be able to grace the stage with her presence or not.
