Bollywood singer Shaan’s voice remains one of the rare gifts bestowed upon the musical industry of Bollywood. With a soulful voice and a pleasant smile, Shaan has impressed people across nations. Songs like Chand Sifarish, Jab Se Tere Naina, Woh Ladki Hai Kahan, Kuch To Hua Hai, Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh, My Dil Goes Mmmm, Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe, Aal Izz Well and others have ruled the playlists of every generation. In the world of advanced technology, Shaan’s natural talent to transition between genres makes him stand out among other artists.

Bollywood has recently seen a trend of recreating songs with the help of artificial intelligence in the voice of some another singer. This is also called AI Voice Cloning. Using artificial tools to recreate the magic of old melodies has become quite normal these days. But singer Shaan has completely different views about this. The Hey Shona singer recently slammed the AI Voice Cloning techniques during an interview with ANI and expressed his disappointment at the excessive use of it.

He said, “I find this AI very cruel when they try to produce songs like 'Yeh gaana agar Kishore da gaate, yeh gaana agar Mohammed Rafi gaate.  What they sang in the 40s, what they sang in the 60s, and what they sang in the 80s were very different. So if they were singing today, it would again be very different.”

Shaan also mentioned the recent track of Saiyaara, which is making waves due to its Kishore Kumar version. The singer argued that netizens are “silly” for comparing the song to the other version. He said, “I'm just saying they shouldn't do this AI. But the new generation has heard Kishore Kumar's voice in 'Saiyaara' or some other thing. That is not fair, man. They should hear his songs that he has sung in his time, which came out of his throat, came out of his sensibilities.”
