Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara is not holding back from breaking records any time soon. Mohit Suri’s directorial has been generating buzz, not only for the solid star cast and the compelling love story, but also for the soulful musical tracks. Saiyaara has added one more feather to its hat. Saiyaara’s title track by Tanishk, Farheem and Arslan, Barbaad (Reprise) by Jubin Nautiyal and Shilpa Rao, Vishal Mishra’s Tum Ho Toh, Humsafar by Sachet-Parampara and Saiyaara (Reprise) by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have been the talk of the town since the movie hit the theatres.

Now, music composer-lyricist Mithoon and singing king Arijit Singh have struck gold yet again with their soulful creation of another popular song Dhun from the romantic drama. Dhun has broken into the Spotify Top 100 Global Charts at #97. The song has already crossed nearly 50 million cumulative streams and also secured a place on Spotify’s Viral Global 50. It has become the second song from Saiyaara to achieve such a huge milestone.

Reportedly, music composer Mithoon shared his views on creating Dhun and expressed it as “a deeply emotional experience” and “immensely rewarding” as well. He said, “This achievement represents not just personal success, but the growing recognition of Indian cinema’s musical artistry on the world stage. I’m deeply grateful to see our authentic storytelling resonate with listeners everywhere.”

Arijit Singh added to this and explained, “Collaborating with Mohit Suri and Mithoon again feels like returning to a creative sanctuary. ‘Dhun’ embodies that magic and it gives me joy to see that it’s been well received.”

The trio of Mithoon, Mohit Suri and Arijit Singh has tasted success before as well, as they have previously collaborated on cinematic hits like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Malang, and Half Girlfriend. Each Bollywood movie gave an iconic hit that created its space in every music lover’s hearts.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie has minted Rs 541 crore worldwide. With these songs reaching new heights, a new bar has been set in the Bollywood world of music.
