71st Miss World 2024 Final: The 71st edition of Miss World is set to take place in India after 28 years, with the final event scheduled for today at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The prestigious beauty pageant will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines. This marks a significant moment as Karan Johar returns to the Miss World stage, having previously served as a jury member in 2006. Who Will Represent India At 71st Miss World Pageant? 

Representing India at the Miss World 2024 pageant is Sini Shetty, the winner of Femina Miss India 2022, who has already showcased her talents in the cultural round of the competition. Sini Shetty is a 22-year-old with a graduate degree in accounting and finance from Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Viewers can watch the 71st Miss World live on SonyLiv on March 9 (Saturday) from 7:30 PM IST, with the event also being streamed on www.missworld.com. The broadcast will reach an audience of over 1 billion people in more than 140 countries and territories, making it a truly global spectacle. 

India At Miss World Pageant: 

India has a proud history at Miss World, with past winners including Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and Manushi Chhillar. The Miss World pageant, established in 1951, aims to empower women through philanthropic endeavours and community service.
