The film has resonated with viewers, offering a mix of entertainment and a spotlight on important women-centric issues, making it a hit among audiences.

Nirmala Bhuria watched 'Laapataa Ladies' with the volunteers of the Courtyard shelter in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The Women and Child Development Department of Madhya Pradesh shared the experience on social media, highlighting the minister's engagement with the film's message of women's empowerment.

Following the screening, Nirmala Bhuria interacted with the women volunteers, discussing the film's themes and emphasizing the importance of women's welfare and empowerment.

'Laapataa Ladies,' presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande, is directed by Kiran Rao.
