In a recent interview with Fox, Travis shared what all went down when proposing to the Pop star. He said, “She can tell that story. The palms were definitely sweating." Admitting he shed 'a few tears’ while proposing to Taylor Swift, the NFL star stated, “I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,” he added. "But it’s been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Recently, during an episode of New Heights podcast, he told his brother Jason Kelce how he felt after introducing Taylor for the first time as his fiancée to few of his football teammates.

Travis stated, "It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with...It’s been awesome. It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates," he continued, "so yeah, it was pretty cool…I still get giddy, it’s exciting times.”

On August 26, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift caused an internet frenzy after announcing their engagement on Instagram, following two years of dating. The star couple who first sparked romance in the summer of 2023 shared a series of photos showing Travis down on one knee in an ethereal garden with a backdrop of pink and white roses. Their post was captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
