Pride and Prejudice Series: Pride and Prejudice is one of the acclaimed series, and it is an adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel. The 6-part limited series has finally begun production in the UK. Netflix has unveiled a first look at the upcoming show and revealed its supporting cast. Rufus Sewell, Louis Partridge, Fiona Shaw, and Daryl McCormack are among the big names who have joined the cast of the Pride and Prejudice series. Take a look at the first glimpse of the Bennet sisters and find out who the new additions are.

Pride and Prejudice Series First look

On Tuesday, Netflix offered a first glimpse of the Bennet sisters to Pride and Prejudice fans on social media. The post on X read, "We know you've been yearning for a sneak peek. Pride & Prejudice is officially in production. Here's a first look featuring Emma Corrin, Freya Mavor, Olivia Colman, Hopey Parish, Rhea Norwood, and Hollie Avery as the Bennet women."

The first look featured Emma Corrin, who plays Elizabeth Bennet, Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, and Rhea Norwood as Lydia. It also shows newcomers Hollie Avery and Hopey Parish in their debut roles as Kitty and Mary.

Pride and Prejudice Series Cast And Their Roles

Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat) will star as the wise patriarch and beloved Mr Bennet alongside Louis Partridge (Disclaimer) as Mr Wickham, with Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats) as the pompous Mr Collins, Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve) as Lady Catherine de Bourg, Daryl McCormack as Jane’s beloved Mr Bingley and Siena Kelly (Black Mirror) as his sister Caroline.

Also othe new cast Joining the Jane Austen adaptation include Anjana Vasan as Mrs Gardiner, Sebastian Armesto as Mr Gardiner, Isabella Sermon as Georgiana Darcy, Rosie Cavaliero as Lady Lucas, Eloise Webb as Harriet Forster, Saffron Coomber as Mrs Hurst, James Dryden as Mr Hurst, Justin Edwards as Sir William Lucas, James Northcote as Colonel Forster, Eloise Webb as Harriet Forster and others, as per Deadline.

They join original cast members Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden and Olivia Colman as Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy and Mrs. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice.

Netflix’s Pride and Prejudice, a faithful adaptation of the novel, is written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn. They executive produce the show with Corrin as well as Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point. Lisa Osborne serves as producer.
