Snow White On OTT: Hollywood movie Snow White is now streaming on OTT. The movie stars Rachel Zegler as the title character, a princess who escapes assassination by her stepmother, the Evil Queen, which has been essayed by Gal Gadot. Snow White is now streaming on JioHotstar in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The story follows Snow White's journey as she forms an unlikely alliance with a group of seven dwarfs and a charismatic bandit named Jonathan, united in their quest to liberate the kingdom from the tyrannical grasp of Snow White's wicked stepmother.
The production of Snow White took place primarily in London, England, with the main filming period occurring between March and July 2022. However, the team returned for some additional filming and pick-ups in June 2024. Despite the excitement surrounding the remake, the film was not without controversy.
Several aspects of the movie drew criticism, including the use of color-blind casting, changes made to the original story, and Rachel Zegler's public comments criticising the 1937 classic. Additionally, the political views of Zegler and co-star Gal Gadot sparked debate, as did the reimagining of the iconic Seven Dwarfs.
