Taylor Swift recently revealed a humorous mix-up involving her fiance, Travis Kelce, who confused Hugh Grant's wife Anna Eberstein for director Greta Gerwig. During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the pop singer recalled the incident, which occurred during her London Eras Tour stop and revolved around a case of mistaken identity. She revealed that Kelce made an "I'm just Ken" joke, referring to Gerwig's Barbie movie, but delivered it to the wrong person and at the wrong time. She also admitted that this mix-up led to some light-hearted revelations.
In the recent interview, Swift shared that “funnest thing about having Travis out on tour” was that he would stand in the VIP tent and give her“the tea afterwards.
In June 2024, High Grant attended the second Eras Tour date in London, where he met Kelce in the VIP tent. Other stars like Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and more were in attendance. According to Swift, Kece was at that time excited to meet his favourite director, Greta Gerwig. However, he accidentally approached Anna Eberstein and congratulated her on the success of Barbie, mistaking her for Gerwig. While recounting the meeting to Swift, Kelce mentioned he used one of Ryan Gosling’s lines from the 2023 film, pointing at Swift, Kelce quipped to Eberstein, “I’m just Ken, too.”
He also told Swift that Gerwig and Grant had been dancing all night. Recalling his statement, she stated, "They kind of seem like they're like soulmates," which left Swift confused. She began scrolling social media, found videos of Kelce dancing with Gerwig. Upon showing him the clip, he replied “Oh, that’s not Greta," as per People.
