Taylor Swift's Obsessed Stalker Arrested: A 43-year-old man has been taken into custody on charges of purportedly stalking Taylor Swift and unlawfully entering her residence in Tribeca. Ashley Arbour was apprehended on Friday, August 18, and is facing legal action for two instances of trespassing, as stated in court documents. He stands accused of intruding into the singer's New York City residence.
Following his appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court for arraignment on Saturday, August 19, Ashley spoke to the New York Post, expressing, "I was disappointed. I love her. I want to marry her. I want her to be my anchor — someone that will have me stay put. I never had someone that kept me grounded."
Ashley was brought up in Michigan. He revealed that he took a Greyhound bus from Atlanta with the intention of meeting Taylor. He even asserted that he had been in a romantic relationship with her before.
Ashley has been charged with repeatedly ringing the doorbell at Taylor's residence until someone responded. Upon entering the building, a resident inquired about his intentions. Upon mentioning Taylor, the woman instructed him to exit the premises, ring the bell again, and wait for a response. Following these instructions, Ashley saw the NYPD waiting for him.
During the interview, the man without a permanent residence expressed his desire to be with Taylor, reasoning that "she’s like most nurturing, like she is me except she is a woman." He conveyed, "She is truly the only one that understands me." He went on to emphasise, "I know she knows I don't mean any harm. I'd never hit a woman. I would not harm her — no, absolutely not."

He concluded, "I love you Taylor. I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy, making you laugh and making up for the — what’s that word you use? Foolish behaviour I expelled when I was 17. I love you." This incident occurred after a large number of Taylor's fans gathered around her as she departed a restaurant on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.
