Tom Holland's initial appearance generated a lot of attention when he began filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. For those who are not aware, Tom Holland's new outfit, which is reminiscent of the iconic one from Marvel Comics, was briefly teased in the 2021 movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. Unfortunately, the actor had a concussion while filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and was rushed to the hospital on Friday. The Sun claimed that production was suspended at Leavesden Studios in Watford when Tom Holland was injured while doing a stunt.

Following the incident, emergency services were called to the studio, according to the site, which cited medical professionals. "We were called at 10.30 AM on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford. An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care," said the statement. The report also revealed that a lady who was allegedly a stunt double in the same scenario was also injured and taken off set in an ambulance.

Tom Holland will be back on the set in a few days after taking a 'precautionary' break, according to a Deadline source. Even though the actor just had a minor concussion, things could have turned out far worse. The Health and Safety Executive may conduct an investigation into the fall given the gravity of the occurrence.  

The actor had been excited about going back to real-world filming locations before the the tragedy. He revealed that Spider-Man: No Way Home was filmed nearly exclusively on soundstages during the COVID 19 Pandemic and he was excited to shoot in actual settings.

Spider Man: Brand New Day Release Date

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release in July 2026 and is meant to be Tom Holland's fourth stand-alone Spider-Man feature. The title of the movie was later revealed at CinemaCon in March.

Tom Holland had been excited to be filming on location before Spider-Man's production in Scotland began, claiming he was 'over the moon.'  Marvel Comics nostalgia is revived with Tom Holland's brand-new outfit for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The superhero's suit will have elevated webbing in the traditional red and blue hues. The 'Spider-Man' outfits worn by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are strikingly similar to Tom's new outfit. Fandom estimates that Tom's brand-new Spider-Man suit is worth an incredible USD 16.4 million.

Produced by Amy Pascal and returning Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige, the film is directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' Destin Daniel Cretton. Zendaya will play MJ again, and Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas will also play significant roles.
