Hollywood actors like Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper and Daniel Radcliffe have publicly battled alcohol problems. The pressure of being under constant scrutiny and limelight can push even the greatest stars to this extent. Similarly, the much loved Spider Man actor, Tom Holland, too, took the help of alcohol earlier in his career. He has previously talked about quitting alcohol and the struggles that followed him. Now, once again, as the star is celebrating nearly three and a half years of being sober, the actor has opened up about his journey.

Tom Holland, during a recent interview with Esquire, mentioned his accomplishment and stated, "It feels amazing. A little bit like a brand-new identity, almost." He also spoke about the success of his non-alcoholic beer company, Bero, saying, “It’s going really well. I’m really proud of it. Every day we’re making big steps in the right direction, and we’re growing every day - thinking of new ways to innovate and coming up with new ideas for products.”

Tom Holland also added, “We have some exciting stuff that we’re developing for the winter of this year and the summer of next year, which I’m really excited about. It’s an ever-changing, ever-growing process.”

Interestingly, an eye-opening moment came for Tom when he once asked his younger brother to drive back home from a party, as he wanted to drink to enjoy himself. Reportedly, the actor's early struggles with going sober became visible on the sets of The Crowded Room in May 2022.

On the work front, Tom Holland is back in the web-slinger suit, as he has been filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the much-anticipated fourth instalment in the franchise. The new movie is scheduled to hit the thetares on July 31, 2026, promising a fresh chapter for the friendly neighbourhood hero. After a brief break, Tom Holland and the cast and crew have been busy with production. The movie is set to explore a new storyline following the events of No Way Home, bringing Peter Parker back to the streets to face more grounded, street-level crime.
