Under Paris Movie Review By Netizens:

Take a look the verdict of 'Under Paris' given by the netizens.

'Under Paris' stars Bérénice Bejo, Nassim Lyes, Léa Léviant in the lead roles and is directed by Xavier Gens. The movie is streaming on Netflix.

In an interview, Bérénice Bejo, who is seen as Sophia, talks about her character. She said, "I loved the idea that a shark could get lost in the Seine. When this genre of film is done well, it’s a pure pleasure for the viewer, and when I read the script, I felt great potential for an action film but also a strong ecological dimension that resonates with the modern world."

She added, "My character asks herself a lot of questions - she’s a scientist who would like to study this shark, but also a humanist who has lives to save. The shark isn’t nasty without reason. We wanted it to be closer to a film like King Kong - to show the worst things man can do on Earth, how he transforms the world without worrying about what it’s doing to nature."

Léa Léviant, who plays Mika, said, "Mika is a character of huge complexity. She’s a young woman with a strong temperament, with her own world and a style of her own. She has the qualities of a leader, full of conviction, and doesn’t hesitate to get others involved in her ideas. Although she can be harsh, she doesn’t stop at anything. She’s someone who refuses to let people walk all over her, and she has a problem with authority, particularly when it goes against her principles. She is on the border between the passion of an adolescent and the confidence of an adult."

'Under Paris' is a French film, that released on Netflix on June 5.
