Wednesday Season 2 Release Date OUT: The highly anticipated second season of Netflix's gothic series 'Wednesday' is set to premiere on August 6, with the first four episodes available to stream. The second part of the season will be released on September 3, concluding the eight-episode series. Global icon Lady Gaga has also joined the cast as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious and legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy, who has a fateful encounter with Wednesday.
During the Tudum 2025 event on May 31, Netflix unveiled the first six minutes of the episode, showcasing serial killers, mystery, murder, mayhem, and chaos. Showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar also shared at Netflix’s Tudum that the upcoming season takes Wednesday on a deeper and more intense journey. This season promises to be ‘darker and more complex’, with Wednesday facing fresh foes and woes.

Wednesday Season 2 official logline read, "Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem." Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams, part-time detective, part-time mystery author, and full-time outcast. Fans are excited to see Wednesday solving serial killer crimes, and the return of Haley Joel Osment as the doll collector has left social media buzzing.

About Wednesday Season 2 Cast
The cast includes returning members — Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, Georgie Farmer as Ajax, Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams. The new additions to the cast include Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Billie Piper as Capri, and Thandiwe Newton as a guest star alongside Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood.
