xXx' Movie Series on OTT: Popular American filmmaker Rich Wilkes is the creator of spy fiction action movie series, 'xXx'. The series, starring Vin Diesel in the lead role, consists of three full-length feature films namely xXx' (2002), xXx: State of the Union (2005) and xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017). It also includes a short film titled 'The Final Chapter: The Death of Xander Cage'.

The third installment in the series also starred Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone which marked her debut in the international cinema. Recently, Vin Diesel even shared a photo with Deepika from the streets of Mumbai when he arrived in the country to promote the film.

xXx- (2002)

Vin Diesel stars as former extreme sports athlete Xander xXx' Cage, notorious for his death-defying public stunts. NSA spy Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) seeks out Xander to join his team as an unconventional covert spy in the hopes that he may succeed where previous traditional spies have failed. He is assigned to a risky secret assignment where he must employ all of his exceptional abilities to defeat an adversary that is crafty, well-prepared, and merciless—a foe who is much above his expertise.

In its first weekend, the movie made $44,506,103 and debuted in 3,374 cinemas. It brought in a total of $142 million domestically and another $135 million abroad for a global total of $277.4 million.

xXx- State of the Union (2005)

When the government hears that a squad of terrorists has infiltrated its ranks and is being schooled by high-ranking official George Deckert (Willem Dafoe), NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) hires an ex-con to disrupt the diabolical scheme. Because Augustus thinks he can't trust anyone in the government, he frees Darius Stone (Ice Cube), a former trainee. Even though Darius is a loose cannon, Augustus is confident that he is the only one qualified for the role.

In comparison to a reported $60 million production budget, xXx: State of the Union made $26.9 million in revenue in the United States and Canada and $44.2 million elsewhere for a worldwide total of $71.1 million. The production budget was reportedly $87 million, but Revolution Studios ultimately spent $113.1 million, according to The Wrap.com.

xXx- Return Of Xander Cage (2017)

Upon returning from his self-imposed exile, Daredevil agent Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) faces a race against time to acquire the terrible weapon known as Pandora's Box, a device that has control over every military satellite on the planet. After assembling a new group of thrill-seeking buddies, Xander finds himself involved in a deadly plan that implies high-level government involvement.

Against a $85 million production budget, xXx: Return of Xander Cage made $44.9 million in North America and $301.4 million in other countries for a worldwide total of $346.3 million.
