Zendaya is currently embracing a lot of admiration for her role in Challengers. The actress, who had a threesome sex scene with her co-stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, has recently shared her parents’ reaction after watching the movie. Zendaya said that her parents accompanied her to the premiere and watched the sex scenes. She further recalled their reactions and called it ‘hilarious’. The diva also mentioned that her parents were aware of the content of the movie.

Zendaya in an interview with Entertainment Tonight said, “It was hilarious. Yeah, I thought it was hilarious. They've all seen Euphoria, you know, so it's not like our first rodeo or anything. It was funny 'cause, you know, obviously I've seen the movie many times so I know what's coming, and they were all sitting behind me, and I got to, like, watch them watch and slowly just be like, ‘Oh god.’ It's still enough to not want to watch with your aunt.”

As the sexy scenes in the movie caught a lot of attention, it was one of the biggest talks of Tinseltown. During an interview, Jake Hamilton asked the leading lady, “Do you feel like, as a society, people have forgotten that an actor kissing another actor is literally a part of your job? Or are they using it as an excuse to get you to talk about kissing?”

Addressing the issue, Zendaya said that people want to make these scenes viral and she also found herself the victim of it. She further said that it was her part of the job and termed it ‘normal’.

While replying to the answer, the Challengers actress said, “I have no idea. I don’t know if it’s because they want it to be, like, a viral thing, I don’t know. But I have noticed that, with me specifically. I feel like other actors don’t… if it was somebody else here, you probably wouldn’t [have] asked that question. But yeah, it is a part of my job and it is a completely normal part of the job despite, I think, maybe other people’s perception of our job. But yeah, it is odd,”

Challengers is set to release in theatres on April 26. The film was directed by Luca Guadagnino.
