BTS members are currently on a hiatus to complete their mandatory military service and focus on solo projects. Despite their absence, all the members have managed to stay in the limelight and have been achieving different milestones in their careers. In the recent voting of 'Most Handsome Face in Kpop', BTS members made it to the top 20 and Jimin was ranked No.1. Following him, BTS V and Jungkook also made their place in Top 5.

Jimin has been crowned the 'Most Beautiful/Handsome Faces in K-POP'. He is followed by Enhypen's members Sunoo and Ni-Ki. BTS members V and Jungkook make it to 4th and 5th rank respectively.

Jin is at No. 11, Suga at No. 12, Jhope at No. 13 and RM at No. 14.

On the work front, Jimin recently released his new single 'Closer Than This'. Announcing the news, BigHit Music said in a statement, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Jimin released his first-ever solo album 'Face' before enlistment. He also teamed up with the Hollywood film 'Fast X' for the songs 'Angel Pt.1' and 'Angel Pt. 2'. His other solo songs include OST for 'Our Blues', his collaboration with BIGBANG’s Taeyang for the latter's song ‘VIBE’, ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’,

V recently released his single 'FRI(END)S, which became a huge hit. He earlier released his solo album 'Layover', which has six songs: 'For You', 'Blue', 'Slow Dancing', 'Rainy Days', 'Love Me Again' and 'Slow Dancing (Piano Version). BigHit Music released an official statement on Weverse and said, "Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. Layover consists of six tracks in total – five tracks and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the album’s flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish."

He also teamed up with Kpop idol-actress IU for her single 'Love Wins All' and starred in the music video.

Jungkook released his solo album 'Golden', which features 11 tracks including 'Standing Next To You''Closer To You', which will feature Jamaican-American DJ trio Major Lazer, among others. The other tracks are: 'Yes or No', 'Please Don't Change', 'Somebody', 'Shot Glass of Tears', 'Hate You' and 'Too Sad to Dance'. Jungkook will team up with popular international artists like Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran for 'Golden'.
