A late-night stroll along the Las Vegas Strip turned violent after a man was seen shooting near the fountains of the famous Bellagio, wounding at least one individual. The dramatic attack, just before 11 p.m. PT on Sunday, was streamed live on a YouTube stream, and it caused shockwaves across the internet and new safety concerns on the Strip. Based on information from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), police were called to the scene of a reported shooting in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, outside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. "The shooting did not take place indoors in a casino," the department explained. "We are asking people to stay away from the area."

The shooting was live-streamed on a broadcast hosted by a YouTuber named Finny Da Legend, who walked along the Strip with a woman. Another man, identified by some viewers as fellow YouTuber SinCity-MannyWise, also known for the channel "Sin City Family," appeared in the background while filming close to the fountains of the Bellagio. Seconds later, the man was spotted once more as he was confronted by the woman who was with Finny. To everyone's surprise, he pulled out a pistol and fired several bullets at someone off-camera, sending panic among passersby. During the chaos, a minimum of seven shots were fired as individuals evacuated the area. The woman who was with Finny seemed to grab the camera and collapse to the ground, although there is uncertainty about whether or not she had been hit by gunfire. Police were on the scene within minutes and closed down the live stream. One victim had been shot, but police are still unable to verify his or her identity or condition.
