Kate Cassidy, the girlfriend of late One Direction singer Liam Payne, has made her first public appearance since his tragic passing on October 16 in Argentina. Payne's untimely death at the age of 31 has been shrouded in controversy, with initial reports suggesting he fell from his hotel balcony. However, a subsequent statement from the Buenos Aires Security Ministry revealed a more disturbing truth, indicating that the singer had intentionally jumped from the balcony of his room.
Liam Payne's Girlfriend Makes First Appearance
As Kate Cassidy stepped out for the first time since the incident, she was spotted wearing casual, sombre attire - grey sweatpants and an oversized graphic T-shirt. Fans couldn't help but notice her visibly devastated demeanour. Take a look at the picture below:
Kate Cassidy honoured Liam Payne's memory with a touching tribute on social media, calling him an "angel" just 48 hours after his sudden passing. She wrote, “Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private."
"Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam," she further added.
Liam Payne began dating influencer Kate Cassidy in 2022, following his split from Maya Henry. The couple went public at the British Fashion Awards and reportedly had an on-again/off-again relationship. In a poignant twist, hours before his tragic passing, Liam shared Snapchat videos with Kate, showing the couple enjoying breakfast together and making plans for their day.
