Coldplay concert video: A scandalous video posted by entertainment news outlet TMZ has plunged data technology company Astronomer into a public relations nightmare after CEO Andy Byron and HR Director Kristin Cabot were seen kissing during a Coldplay concert in Boston, sparking rumors of an extramarital affair. The video, which soon went viral after TMZ posted it, features Byron and Cabot kissing and hugging one another while singing along to Coldplay's popular tune Yellow. The romantic moment was captured on the stadium's "kiss cam" and displayed on the enormous jumbotron screen in front of thousands of people.
Fans at Gillette Stadium could see the silhouetted couple embracing tightly, laughing, dancing to the beat, and kissing each other over and over. When the camera closed in on them, the shocked executives unconvincingly ducked down to cover their faces, an act that only served to further highlight them. Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, looking at the drama unfold on the screen in front of him, quipped to the audience, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The hot kiss has set off a wave of gossip about an alleged affair, with both Byron and Cabot purportedly being married to other partners. Byron resides in New York with his wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot is married to Andrew Cabot, Privateer Rum's CEO. The couple recently purchased a home together in Rye, New Hampshire, according to the New York Post.

Due to the scandal, Astronomer, the AI data firm based in New York, issued an official statement on Friday. “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the statement read. The company confirmed that both executives have been placed on administrative leave while a formal investigation is underway. The Board of Directors is in the process of conducting a formal investigation into this issue, and we will have more information to report soon," Astronomer commented. Byron is reportedly negotiating his departure, including a potential severance package, according to Axios. Byron and Cabot have not publicly commented on the viral clip or accusations of an extramarital relationship. Astronomer has explained that no other staff members were implicated in the occurrence and negated social media speculation implicating other workers in the concert. Neither executive has made a public statement to date.
