Couple Caught On Camera In Explicit Act At US Bank; Video Goes Viral, Company Responds

A Tennessee-based financial institution has issued a formal apology after an explicit video, reportedly filmed at one of its branch offices, went viral on TikTok. The footage captured a couple engaged in a sexual act inside a branch of Eastman Credit Union (ECU) in Johnson City, East Tennessee. The scene, partially obscured by a frosted glass window, left little to the imagination and sparked widespread attention online. 

Eastman Credit Union, founded in 1934, is a member-owned, non-profit cooperative headquartered in Kingsport, Tennessee. With over 30 branch locations across Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, the institution has grown to manage assets totalling USD 9.4 billion. The Johnson City Press reports that ECU operates three branches in Johnson City alone.

Video Sparks Outrage 

The video, believed to have been filmed in one of ECU’s Johnson City locations, first surfaced on TikTok, quickly amassing millions of views. In the clip, the couple can be seen in an intimate position behind frosted glass. Though the window partially blurred the view, their actions were still clearly visible to anyone nearby in the branch.

As of now, it is unclear whether the individuals involved are employees of the credit union or members of the public. The video’s virality has triggered concerns about privacy, security, and workplace decorum.

Eastman Credit Union Responds Swiftly

In response to the incident, Eastman Credit Union released a statement via social media, addressing the viral video and reiterating the organisation’s zero-tolerance stance on inappropriate behaviour.

“Earlier this week, we learned of a video taken of inappropriate behaviour in a Johnson City, Tennessee, branch,” the statement read. “We took immediate action as we have zero tolerance for this kind of misconduct. We apologise that this disturbing incident happened at our facility, as it does not represent who we are as an organisation.”

ECU further emphasised its dedication to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for both staff and members, adding, “We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for our staff and members.
