In a surprising sight, former US President Donald Trump’s larger-than-life-size statue was erected in US' Las Vegas, ahead of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris' rally in Nevada today. The 43-foot naked statue of Trump is seen as a provocative move ahead of the key presidential election.

The sculpture was titled "Crooked and Obscene," and was seen towering over Interstate 15, along the route leading to Utah.

Depicted as a marionette, the controversial nude Trump statue is crafted from foam and weighs approximately 6,000 pounds, as per HT. This massive figure harks back to the similar naked statues of the former president that garnered attention during his 2016 campaign. However, while those earlier versions were more life-sized, this latest colossal creation far exceeds expectations in scale.

The figure was installed on Friday and is likely to stay intact till election day. The statue has created a furore as social media platforms are witnessing a plethora of comments.

Trump vs Harris

The presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is extremely tight. Harris benefits from a stronger personal appeal, while Trump relies on a loyal base and a significant lead in economic management. Despite more negative perceptions of his empathy and temperament, Trump remains competitive, keeping the race nearly even. As per a CNN survey, the battle seems neck-and-neck between the two leaders.
