iPhone SE 4 May Feature New Action Button And USB-C Port; Details

Apple iPhone SE 4 has witnessed a rough phase in the rumour mill in terms of leaks and launch dates. Rumours have delayed the launch of the handset for quite some time. However, the latest details from a tipster added a spicy twist to the speculated specs sheet of the handset.

According to X user Unknownz21, the upcoming device may sport an Action Button similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models. The tipster expects a design like the current iPhone 14 series. It may imply that Dynamic Island might still not make it to the SE 4, but it may sport slim display borders.

Secondly, it could have Face ID as a replacement for the Touch ID button. Among the highly-anticipated features that grabbed the eyeballs is the Action Button. It will likely be absent on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus but could make it to the SE 4. This could act as a differentiating factor among these phones.

Moreover, it is also tipped to have a USB Type-C port for charging instead of the Lighting connector. Hence, it may join the bandwagon of the iPhone 15 series.

One bummer that could disappoint us is the presence of a single camera on the back like its predecessor. As for the iPhone 14, it sports dual cameras on the back. Previous reports have hinted that the phone may have an OLED screen, an upgrade from the current LCD panel.

Coming to the current iteration, the handset offers a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS screen with a peak brightness of up to 625 nits. Under the hood, it sports an A15 Bionic processor with six CPUs and four GPU cores. It runs on iOS 16 OS. This IP67-rated handset ships with a 12MP primary OIS camera on the back and a 7MP selfie lens. As for security, the 5G device comes with a fingerprint reader.
