Apple iPads are popular across the globe for the potential that they pack on a big screen that is portable and handy. They come with great hardware that can deliver a PC-like experience (in most cases) when used with the company's own Magic Keyboard. And it seems Apple aims to shrink the full-fledged PC environment deep into these tablets. The tech giant reportedly plans to introduce a new revamped Keyboard with the upcoming iPads, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported.

Gurman stated that the company plans to introduce a refreshed Magic Keyboard, a single solution for a trackpad and keyboard for an iPad, in 2024. The accessory would sport a larger trackpad that could make it look as if it is inspired by a Mac.

Adding to the set of leaks, the journalist added that the upcoming keyboard could have an aluminium casing in the area around the keys. This would make it look similar to the widely popular Apple laptops.

Besides the new Keyboard makeover, according to a News18 report, the company may increase the size of the upcoming tablets to 14 inches in the future. While the changes are tipped around the accessory, the design of the keys and the body could remain unaffected and may be prone to bending.

A single USB port will continue to sit in its place in the upcoming accessory, Gurman added. With these upgrades, the price of the Magic Keyboard is expected to get a boost. In India, the latest Magic Keyboard is available for Rs 29,999.

In a set of previous leaks, it was revealed that the next-gen tablets may arrive with M3 chips that could perform as good as MacBooks. Further, a shift to OLED technology for the display is expected in the upcoming lineup. These enhancements will likely shoot up the prices of these offerings.
