Elon Musk-led AI company xAI is all set to release its first AI product tomorrow to select users. Taking to X, formerly called Twitter, the Tesla CEO shared the update and claimed it is better than the current offerings in a few "important respects". For the unversed, the tech mogul announced its official entry into the AI space to combat the dominance of other tech giants in this space in July.

The race to enter the AI space throttled into the fifth gear with the arrival of OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Bard (as a competition to the OpenAI's language model). xAI's upcoming AI is being speculated as an alternative to these products. According to the official website, the goal of xAI is to understand the "true nature of the universe".

"Tomorrow, @xAI will release its first AI to a select group. In some important respects, it is the best that currently exists," @elonmusk posted on X. Besides Musk, xAI's team includes engineers, researchers and scientists from Google, DeepMind, OpenAI, Microsoft and more tech firms. This squad is advised by Dan Hendrycks, Director, Center for AI Safety. While the organisation works closely with X, Tesla and associated companies, it is a different entity from X Corp, as per the website.

On a related note, Musk also shared that the "See similar" posts feature is now rolling out for users on X. This is among the "AI-based" enhancements announced by the microblogging platform recently. It is now live for paying users. With the feature, users can check out similar posts on a particular range of topics to learn more.

Also, replying to a user who asked for a "see dissimilar posts" button for "privately checking the spectrum of views expressed on a particular topic," Elon Musk confirmed that a feature to view dissimilar posts is also in the works and will be released soon. Meanwhile, X introduced another exclusive feature for its Premium users to make audio and video calls. You can read more on this here.
