The BJP, which has been in power in Uttar Pradesh for eight years, has unveiled a detailed programme for November and December to transform the Self-Reliant India (Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan) Pledge Campaign into a mass movement. The initiative aims to engage people from all walks of life, including youth, small traders, street vendors, and artisans, promoting the concept of self-reliance.

As part of the campaign, district-level professional conferences will be held from November 1 to 15, while the BJP’s youth wing, Yuva Morcha, will organise "Swadeshi Sankalp Seminars" in colleges across the state during the same period.

The three-month Self-Reliant India campaign, which began on September 25, will also feature debates on "Indigenous vs Foreign," mock parliaments, online quizzes, and essay and speech competitions on self-reliance from 1 to 30 November. Districts have been asked to actively involve educational institutions in these activities.

From December 1 to 15, the party will hold conferences for street vendors, small traders, and artisans to encourage their participation in self-reliance initiatives. This will be followed by the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Padyatra' (Self-Reliant India Pledge March) from December 1 to 25, with special emphasis on the involvement of influential members of society.
