The successful return of Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla from the Axiom Mission-4, operated by US-based Axiom Space, has sparked a wave of pride and celebration across the country. His participation in the historic mission has placed India, and particularly his home state Uttar Pradesh, in the global spotlight.

Congratulating him on this remarkable achievement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Shukla’s return is a "glorious symbol of courage, dedication, and commitment to science." Posting on X, the CM wrote, "Welcome back to Earth! Heartiest congratulations to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and his team on the successful return of Axiom Mission-4. Today, every Indian, especially the people of Uttar Pradesh, is proud."

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also lauded Shukla's accomplishment, calling it an inspiration for crores of Indian youth. "He has raised the country’s flag high and given a new flight to the dreams of countless young minds," Maurya said.

Celebrations echoed across party lines. BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary congratulated Group Captain Shukla on the successful completion of the mission, while BSP Chief Mayawati noted that his safe return would inspire and energise youth across the country. She also extended congratulations to all space scientists involved, including Shukla and his family from Lucknow.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav praised the mission as a milestone in India's space journey. “This historic achievement is a moment of pride for his family and every citizen,” he said.
