The display was done to raise public awareness around illicit relationships, said Pradeep Kumar Chaurasia, president of Maa Shakti Club, as per an NDTV report. He added that the exhibit gives out a message to develop trust and integrity in their relationships.
What Is The Blue Drum Murder Case?
In the Meerut murder case, a merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput was murdered by wife Muskaan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla. Saurabh’s body was cut into 15 pieces using a butcher’s knife and concealed in a drum filled with cement.
Muskan and her partner Sahil were arrested on March 19 for the gruesome murder. After committing the crime, they reportedly fled to Himachal Pradesh. Muskan later confessed the incident to her family, which led to their arrest.
Both Muskan and Sahil remain in judicial custody as the investigation continues.
