The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the electricity bill relief scheme, which will take effect in the state from Monday, December 1. Along with this, the scheme will be a source of great relief, especially for those consumers who were previously entangled in cases related to unauthorised electricity use. Under this scheme, ongoing lawsuits in such cases will be settled, which will free the affected families from lengthy legal procedures.

The government has also launched a special campaign to provide detailed information to consumers. The option of easy instalments is also available.
