Ganga Expressway Latest Toll News:  The 594-kilometre-long Ganga Expressway, connecting Meerut and Prayagraj, is scheduled to open to the public in the second week of February 2026. This upcoming corridor will link western and eastern Uttar Pradesh, reducing the travel time between the two cities from 12 hours to just 6-7 hours.

Spanning 594 kilometres, the six-lane expressway begins at Bijauli village in Meerut and ends at Judapur Dandu in Prayagraj, passing through key districts across the state such as Hapur, Sambhal, and Unnao.

Final preparations are currently underway. The Kharkhari toll plaza in Meerut is complete, and a toll structure has been finalised for all vehicle categories, including cars, jeeps, and light commercial vehicles.

According to a report by Jagran.com, the one-way toll for cars, jeeps, and other light vehicle travelling from Meerut to Prayagraj has been set at Rs 1,515, while a round-trip will cost Rs 3,030.

- For those travelling shorter distances, the estimated one-way toll rate is approximately Rs 145 for cars and vans, while buses and trucks will be charged Rs 455.

Ganga Expressway Update: Check Toll Booth Locations In Meerut Circle

The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has established toll booths at major road intersections to facilitate entry and exit from the corridor, Jagran.com report added. Key toll booths include:
