Ganga Expressway Update: In a fresh update, the work on the main carriageway of the Ganga Express in Prayagraj district has been completed, and the work on the service road and toll plaza is underway.

According to the information, the tree plantation, display boards, road lights, and camera installation work have been completed. The work on service lanes and toll plazas slowed down due to the heavy rainfall in recent days.

Prayagraj DM inspects expressway work

On Saturday, Prayagraj District Magistrate Manish Kumar inspected the project and directed the work to be completed by November 2.

The Ganga Expressway is a 594 KM road project connecting 12 districts from Prayagraj to Meerut. It is being developed at a cost of Rs 36,000.

DM Manish Kumar visited the starting point of the under-construction Ganga Expressway in Prayagraj, the Gram Panchayat Judhapur Dandu, and inspected the progress of the work. He reviewed the physical progress of the expressway project and the traffic management by reviewing the map.

The administrative officer explained that the Ganga Expressway is being constructed in four groups. Group 4 covers 156 km and includes the Prayagraj district stretch of 15.2 km.

The expressway is being constructed with six lanes and is designed to expand it to eight lanes for future expansions.

The DM asked the project manager and other officials to complete the remaining work expeditiously and with quality. Anil Punia, administrative officer of the executing agency, Narendra Shukla, assistant manager of UPDA, and Pradeep Kumar Singh from the Adani Group were present.
