Noida Airport To Ganga-Yamuna Link Expressway: The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) is set to commence land acquisition for the proposed Link Expressway, which will connect the Ganga-Yamuna Expressway. To initiate the process, UPEIDA has begun marking the land for the expressway by installing pillars on both sides of the alignment, Jagran.com reported.

The land purchase will be done on a consent basis, with compensation distributed to the farmers after verifying their ownership rights through government records. This expressway project is expected to boost connectivity in western Uttar Pradesh, providing direct access to the Noida International Airport.

Cement concrete pillars are being installed on both sides of the expressway to demarcate the land required for the project. This will facilitate the land acquisition process, ensuring transparency and efficiency.

The Link Expressway will connect to a proposed 130-meter-wide road in the Yamuna Authority area and will link to the Yamuna Expressway near Film City via a ramp. With vehicle movement expected to start soon on the Ganga Expressway from Meerut to Prayagraj, this link expressway will further enhance connectivity and economic opportunities in the region.

The proposed Link Expressway will provide direct connectivity to Noida International Airport for several districts in western Uttar Pradesh, including Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Shamli, Hapur, Sambhal, and Badaun. In addition to Mathura and Agra, these districts will also gain access to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
