A violent clash broke out between a group of advocates including a woman advocate outside a sales tax office in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Tuesday. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Sahibabad police station.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media which shows the woman advocate getting into a fight with a male advocate over a client. The other sales tax advocate had already been in communication with the truck driver to secure the release of the truck, which had been seized by the sales tax team, and had begun handling the necessary documentation.

Meanwhile, the female advocate also approached the truck driver to take charge of his case. This caused a conflict between the two advocates, as reported by Amar Ujala.
The viral video showed that the woman had visible bruises and blood on her face. Upon being informed of the incident, the police responded and took both individuals to the station.
“The above case is in the knowledge of the local police. Action is being taken under section 173 (3) BNSS after receiving a written complaint from the victim regarding the incident," The Hindon Police Commissionerate said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Nimish Patil, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Trans-Hindon, told The Times of India that both groups arrived at the GST office with their clients. However, a heated argument ensued over one of the clients, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
“Immediately, a police team reached the spot after getting information about it. Both parties filed complaints against each other with the police. The police stated that further action will be taken after an investigation," he added.
